Luffa and Honey Soap
LUFFA AND HONEY SOAP
Grown here on the Back Twenty, luffa gourds are an heirloom variety that produces light green, cylindrical fruits. The dried fruit can be used as a sponge for bathing, washing dishes, or other household cleaning. It's an all-natural, sustainable exfoliant.
Air dry your luffa thoroughly and it should last several months. When you are done with your sponge, you can compost it or place it in the bottom of your flowerpots before planting to help retain moisture.
Goat Milk and "Back Twenty Honey" Soap bars are made with natural ingredients. The soap is made with real liquid goat's milk and honey has a light fragrance. It has a delicate creamy lather with a beautiful "custard" color.
